Dana Erdheim, Preschool Director
We are so excited to be back at school for this exciting
2025-2026 school year! After a smooth transition into
school, our preschoolers are having a busy, fun and
engaging start! Our rooms are filled with colorful holiday
and seasonal projects.
In addition to all the opportunities to learn and play in our
classrooms, we are also so lucky to have multiple
enrichment classes both during the school day and
offered after school. Mr. Dovey is back by popular
demand every week for music through Tkiya music. The
children love to sing and dance with him. Coach Stella
from Zing! joins us every Monday for movement and
mindfulness. The kids are using their muscles and minds
to get stronger. Linzy Ziegelbaum, MS, RD, CDN conducts
her Cooking the Alphabet program for us after school on
Tuesdays and our 3’s and 4’s have been whipping up
delicious food such as banana yogurt parfaits and apple
doughnuts. The class is accompanied by a story and a
related craft as well. Our wonderful Ms. Shiri is back to
teach Hebrew & Holidays to our 2’s, 3’s and 4’s. She
always comes with a plethora of developmentally
appropriate props, songs and smiles as we learn.
Our 2’s classes have been adjusting so well to their
school routines. In addition to making new friends and
bonding with their teachers, they are participating in
activities to strengthen their fine motor skills such as
painting with dot markers, sponge painting and crafting
with tissue paper. They have read books about the
holidays and autumn such as The Best Sukkot Pumpkin
Ever!, by Laya Steinberg.
One of the most special times we have shared so far this
year was going into the Sukkah with Rabbi Mike. Each
class got to experience the beauty of TBI’s Sukkah and
experienced the touch and smells of the Lulav and Etrog.
We sang, prayed and even ate in the Sukkah and we felt
so happy and grateful!
Our Toddler 2’s are getting comfy in their classroom and
are preparing for their upcoming separation and their first
experience at school without their grown-ups!
First Friend’s, our grown up and me class, begins this
week and we can’t wait to meet our newest learners. This
class is for our 12-24 month olds to get a taste of school.
Tours for future TBI families have begun and we look
forward to welcoming them and showing them all the
amazing offerings here at TBI preschool.
Registration for Members and Current Families begins
December 2, 2025 and opens to the community on
December 9th.
We are looking forward to our Fall Festival which is just
around the corner.
