JACK MISHAN
TBI PRESIDENT
Dear TBI Family,
As I write to you, I'm surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of
Montana―vast skies, rolling mountains, and a sense of peace that invites
reflection. It's the perfect setting to pause and look back on an incredible
year at Temple Beth Israel, and to look forward with joy and excitement
to 5786.
Serving as President of TBI continues to be one of the greatest honors of
my life. I have the privilege of working alongside the most dedicated
clergy and directors, and together, we have accomplished so much. Our
religious school and preschool are thriving, and the energy from our
youngest learners is felt throughout our community.
Our membership is now at an all-time high (312 as I write), a testament to
the vibrant, welcoming, and meaningful community we've all worked so
hard to build. Whether you've been with us for many years or have just
joined, thank you for being part of what makes TBI so special.
We are on Instagram &
Facebook. Check our

This year, just as in years past, security of the building and community
remained a high priority. Thanks to government grants, we were able to
significantly upgrade our building's safety protocols helping to ensure
that our children, staff, and community feel secure and cared for.
There is so much to be proud of at TBI. From meaningful programming
to spiritual growth, joyful holiday celebrations to everyday moments of
connection, this past year has truly been one of progress and purpose.
And I can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together in 5786.
As we prepare for the High Holidays, please be sure to fill out the forms
for Rosh Hashanah tickets, youth services, and the Book of
Remembrance so we can welcome everyone smoothly and meaningfully
into the New Year. Also, please keep an eye out for the very important
Kol Nidrei appeal card—this campaign is essential to helping us sustain
the amazing programs, services, and community support that define TBI
all year long.
I'll be sharing more at Rosh Hashanah, and I hope you'll join us as we
gather to reflect, renew, and begin the year together.
Wishing you and your loved ones a sweet, healthy, and fulfilling New
Year.
L'Shana Tovah,
Jack Mishan
